Hi,  Just wanted you to know that Simba is now home in Omaha and very happy.  What an adorable cat, he is as sweeter and cuter than I could have hoped for.  He wasn't a problem on the 8 hour car ride, slept on my lap, on the second seat and played with his toys.  Only had him in the carrier when we left the car.  Thank you and know that he has a loving home.

Hi Kevin,  This is an update on Zeus (formerly known as Simba).  He is great, had him neutered last week.  He weighs 6 lbs. 6 ounces.  Is a wonderful fluff ball and very funny and social.  Everyone that comes over loves him.  We are driving to Denver to visit my sister and he is going with us.  I can't bear to leave him.  Also have had several people express interest in having a Birman.

Kevin,   We just got back from Denver and took Zeus with us.  What a great Traveler.  He got along great with my sister Sharon's Birman cat, Picasso.  Of course he had lived there for a week and a half before we came and picked him up.  He is really funny and loving.  And he is very fluffy and has a beautiful tail, which is usually sticking straight up, especially when he runs.  He is the best cat we have ever had.   He is currently trying to help me with the computer!!.

Hey Kevin,

Linus is doing great!  His new name is Hooligan and he is the light of Leah's life.  He is 3 pounds 12 ounces and he has a full coat. His upbringing with your dogs has made him fearless with ours.  He has the best personality of any cat we have ever had.  We are ecstatic.

Thanks

Dave

Bobby is doing great he is very much a peoples Cat he likes being with people. He is so funny , he was in the kitchen with me and he saw himself in the front of the stove and I bet he thought it was Simon (his brother) . I really am enjoying the heck out of him. He is loved very much. And another thing he comes when you call him, I've never seen a cat do that, a dog but not a cat. Thanks Again Marty

Hello,

We adopted the little kitten you had listed as buttercup (now Socks).  She has really become part of our family.  At first we worried she would not get along with our new Siamese cat but all is well and it only took about 4 days for them to buddy up.  She has taken to our dog Sadie the best, she loves to lay with her and clean her fur and basically snuggle up.  Every night both cats go to bed with my 16 yr old and when Steve wakes up at 0630 they fly up the stairs to the kitchen to get breakfast… boy are they spoiled rotten.  They are very scheduled as far as play time and nap time.  I have never seen a cat that could leap like Socks, we play with her every night from 8-9 with a ball on a string tied to a stick.  She can jump and do back flips it is amazing.  She has learned how to jump on the kitchen counter and she leaves the Siamese on the floor howling after her.

I am sure you get the picture, they make a great team and we are very happy to have her as part of our family.

Take Care,

Sharon

Hello, my parents bought one of your Birman kittens on Monday, July 24th, and I just wanted to let you know how he's doing.  We named him Emeril, after the chef Emeril Lagasse.  Emeril is adjusting well to the house and his new surroundings.  He has not had a single accident, and is eating his new food and drinking out of the water bowl.  Emeril gets along well with our other three cats and runs up to them to play a lot.  He's a little ball of energy and he loves to play with the toys we have for him, and he runs all over the house.  He mews when he gets lonely, and he loves to play on the bed with my parents and I.  He likes to play with feet and shoes, just like our other cat Earnest, and he runs all over like our cat Ralphie.  He loves to climb on me if I'm sitting on the floor or on the bed with him.  He hasn't clawed any of our funiture and is the most well-behaved kitten!  Emeril is so sweet and adorable!  He is in a great home and we all love him very, very much!

Sincerly,

Amanda

A Kitten Named Winter from Candice

Hi Kevin,

Winter has come into our home much like the two storms did here in Denver. As soon as we brought her home, Amy went up to the cat carrier to check her out, and Winter (after much crying) got quiet and her two arms stuck straight out toward Amy through the carrier door. We let her out and she ran toward Amy for comfort. That scared Amy and she ran off, but came back often to get more familiar with her. We assume that Winter thought Amy was her mom, because knowing when she was hungry wasn't a problem -- Winter tried to milk from Amy. Amy is accustomed to Winter now and will groom her when she curls up next to her. Another thing though, Winter loves to play with her, a lot. I edited a great video to show you. It wasn't hard to take so many shots because it's all she does when she's awake -- you'll see what I mean. :) in the video.

Winter runs our home fearlessly. She runs us too. She prefers to sit in our laps and will cry until she gets her way. That's alright, we wanted a very social cat to balance out Amy, and we're finding that Amy is coming out more often to play and ask for attention. I've also attached 3 pictures with this email. I hope you enjoy the video! Thanks again.

The below photos were sent with no letter

but you can tell that they are loved.

Hi Kevin,
Here are some current pictures of Bobby.  Thought you might like to see how he has changed.  He is a very loved little guy.

Kevin,

Thanks again for a great kitten.
Martin is now named Indy (short for Indigo).
He is part of the family and loved very very much.
We only have one wish that he would grow slower!
He has soo much fun with our yellow lab.
He chews and plays on her tail while she just sits there.
She licks him so much he rolls across the room!
It was a pleasure, we appreciated your advice and honesty.
Here are some recent pictures of him.

We'll send you more as he grows,

Sandy and Greg H.

Hi Kevin,
I thought I would take a moment to let you know how happy Sheeba is. I picked her up last July 19th, 2006. She is one of Zoey's and Ryan's kittens.
She is an awesome kitten, who thinks she is part dog. She runs to the door and greets me with the dogs when I come home. And she follows me everywhere I go. I love it. She is so affectionate, and isn't afraid of anything. She and our 2 dogs wrestle and run all over the house together. She gives kitty kisses with her nose, and it still makes me smile and giggle. Of course she is very spoiled, and gets lots of loving.
She loves to play in the sink and the bathtub with her toys. We play fetch in the evenings, and she thinks she is so smart bringing back her toy.
We are going to let her have a letter of kittens when she is old enough to pass on her great traits. Her upbringing with your other animals definitely made her very social. Thanks!
I have attached a couple of pics for you. If you have any ideas on who I can breed her with, I would love to hear them.

Have a good weekend, Debbie T.

I wanted to send you some more pictures of Emeril, formerly known as Charlie. He is adorable and still very well-behaved. He is quite the silly cat as you can see by the photos below. He has taken a special liking to me, and always "talks" to me when I call his name. He has gotten quite poofy and his birthday is one week from today! He is the smallest of our cats overall, but also the one with the most fur. Anyway, here are the pictures of our treasured cat, Emeril:

This is him by my computer, he's by me a lot.

My Grandma saw Emeril when she came down to visit, and she said she put down a deposit for a male Birman because she loved him so much. I guess these cats are infectious! I would love another one, but I doubt that will happen with four cats. I hope the new litter of kittens is very healthy and all the kittens find great homes!

Sincerely,
Amanda
